Lovely and comfortable B&B in a nice town
Disappointing overall, as in a very pleasant wooded area, ideal for dog owners. No car parking spaces available on arrival - not a good start as an unknown area.Ended up some distance away and only able to re=park late evening.. Request for ground floor room (we brought dogs) was ignored despite being on reservation AND a 'phone call in advance to hotel. Receptionist changed our room.First room had unusable sink, so had to move. Rooms were 'tired' and dark and bed uncomfortable.
Country Pleasures is very comfortable and welcoming with generous breakfast provisions. Vicki has been a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. I would highly recommend.
Most amazing place we have stayed so far!! It feels like home, a lavish home i could never afford to own but still, it has everything you could ever need and more. One day i will return for another experience like this x thankyou!
We stayed here in June2016 and fell in love with the place. Absolutely gorgeous, many extra touches like wine, port, chocolates and so much food. This place is cosy, crackling fire, huge spa tub and very generous with providing breakfast options. Have already recommended to all my friends and can't wait to return.
